What was the the actual procedure? Like what do they do? And what is the condition called?
there are a few different procedures ( and unfortunately I need them all done) it's " medically necessary/ not cosmetic because the veins can clot, there is "EVLT"=endovenous laser therapy after ultrasound a tiny laser is introduced into the varicose vein throughly a tiny incision, laser heats the vein walls causing the vein to close , next is "ambulatory phlebectomy to microsurgically remove "tributary" veins,it's skin incisions with a small " hook"used to extract or pull out the veins ... The problem being ( for me anyways lol) is that you are wide awake on the operating table ...( he hits a nerve you jump!) like I said I was sweating and shaking and yelling profanities .... This place ( Ashton Vein Center) is very highly regarded so it is what it is... Before the surgery the veins in my legs were actually turning black and blue and hurting ( also my shins were becoming discolored from the lack of circulation) the condition is called a "Venous disease" .. It's so much more than just " varicose veins"
