One of my favorite fellows is Andreas Cahling. He's stayed in the game even after he suffered nerve damage which disfigured his face. He's also maintained a fairly successful career in selling men's and women's bodybuilding competition stage wear.

Steve Reeves. Arnold. Draper. Zane. There are plenty I admire but Reeves is first. Draper is a great guy with a lovely wife in Laree.

Draper was always one of my main inspirations as a kid. Also a super nice guy. I met him once at a gym when I was just 14 and after he finished working out he spent a half an hour just chatting with me and answering any questions I had on bodybuilding. When I asked him the "truth" about steroids, he replied "Do you buy any of the bodybuilding magazines?, do you go see any of the contests?...Well, EVERYONE IS ON STEROIDS if they're competing. Good knowledge to learn at an early age.

hey lucky funny you mention that , about 15 years ago i believe esquire magazine did a big piece on dave i read it, man i felt bad for dave, for how bad that cock roach weider fucked him over, he built this huge bed for arnold, arnold said to this day he has that bed, he said he could never throw that bed away cause he knew dave put alot of heart and soul into building that bed for him.

dave is a good guy and had a great look.

Spent the weekend with Dave & Laree back in 2007 and AOBS dinner/convention, just sweet, top notch people...

I met Dave in the mid 70s. Great guy. His physique (for me) was very inspirational but as is often the case back then, I realized my structure was not nearly as ideal as his. I had a chance to meet Reeves but it never panned out.
