stupid americans and their stupid 2nd amendment...

you don't have to protect yourselves from wild fucking bears and wolves anymore. ban the guns. but then, oh poor americans, will have to obseess about something else...steroids, guns, tatoos, synthol and being fake tough...poor stupid crybaby americans.

don't take our guns, we need to appear tough, we might need to become nice to other people, we might need to be not assholy and arrogant. what do we do then?

yeah,

let's ban life, 'cause life causes death....fucking brilliant

WTF are you trying to say in this thread?

The illusion of safety isn't more important than freedom.
Some people are too dumb to understand, you're wasting your finger energy.

I'm an American who doesn't feel sacrificing rights will increase safety.

When someone proves removing rights from law abiding citizens stops criminals from breaking the law my position could change.
all the help from
In terms of chains and shit. That's bullshit. Plenty of black people come from good homes, take personal responsibility, stay out of trouble, go to college, etc... In fact, black Americans were better off before Liberals decided they needed to be handheld from cradle to grave with entitlement programs. Black Americans were probably better off by every indicator used for poverty before welfare became widespread. Welfare, social services, and most other public assistance programs increased poverty.

well however you chop it up, whether black people were better off before welfare (or before slavery left them with idle hands as i think one of those bundy fellows suggests) .

the fact remains, something like 50% of gun death victims in the US are black whist only making 13% of the population....guns are the scourge of black communities.

and before i hear "oh but da criminals will still get da guns". no they won't. it's like the trickle down effect in economics. if you restrict gun manufacture and legal gun ownership, and at the same time introduce very harsh mandatory sentences for gun possession. you will quickly see the number of guns drop across the board , criminals included.

guns are not needed in society, get rid of the AR15s the hand guns, all of them. start living with real freedom instead of fear.

I'm never going to support any solution that grows the govt or strips law abiding citizens of their rights.

When the black community gets tired of the bullshit, it'll stop.

don't see how society disarming should necessarily "grow the govt"

as for stripping people of their rights. I disagree, people would have more freedom in general without all the guns. i can pretty much go anywhere in the uk without thinking i need to arm myself. OK couple areas would need to keep your wits about you , but generally no need to be armed.

look at all the people in the US, in high gun crime areas that are afraid of catching a stray bullet or getting caught up in some gun incident. all the people that feel the need to arm themselves to go about their daily business or need to keep a gun at hand in their house to feel safe.

that's not freedom, that's living in fear. you americans seem to be a very fearful bunch in general. even when you look at foreign policy, always gotta be bombing this country or stirring up trouble in that country, all in the name of "freedom" and "keeping america safe".

i think this fearfulness is probably ingrained in the american subconscious. the settlers were always scared about the slaves revolting and rising up against them, so they had to make sure they kept themselves armed to the teeth to prevent any such eventualities.

just a theory but there's definitely something 'up' with the american psyche.

This is an issue of the limits of Govt power, not race.

when you look how disproportionately blacks are affected by gun deaths/violence, it becomes part of the equation.

it just makes me laugh when i hear black americans talking about "it's a constitutional right" so what ? no black person had fk all to do with writing the constitution in fact it was even used to ensure slavery was legal at one point. the constitution has fk all to do with you.
it's all conditioning, i guess.

Why stop at guns?

Ban certain foods to protect the 40% of Americans who are fat people from themselves.

Euthanize people at 70 to save Social Security.
