Platz was 5'8 not that short for BB standards. Yes Mustafa should be mentioned. Great quad sweep, but no stiations and barely any separation. But then again this thread is supposed to be about size? If not, no ones legs were big and shredded to the bone like Munzers were at one point. It would be nice to see them all in real time standing next to each other. Unfortunately that can never happen. (Ramys legs ) in that pic look crazy. I still think if it came down to the tape measure. Ronnie in that pic with the purple trunks has to be the biggest ever. Just think of his weight and height?, and that was contest condition. Bigger offseason !  :o

B.S.  I stood right beside him (not on a stage unfortunately!).  I'm 5'8" and he was a good 2-3" shorter than I.

6 Reps: I never stood next to him. You may be right? You know how they all fib about their weights and heights. Anyway, back to IMO the "Best" quads, maybe not the biggest. They were big though, and shredded to the bone with great shape. (Andreas Munzers ) :o

Tom Platz

Demayo

Branch

Ben Pakulski

Fankhouser

I am saying those 5 off the top of my head for the very reason that not only did/do they have/had unreal quad and hamst development but thier calves matched up as well

not to take anything away from the other guys you all mentioned but most of them have shit calves in relation to their huge legs and it stands out

In fairness to this viewpoint, Big Hammy will join the ranks of those with legs out of balance for their physique and never be in the top spot.

Good genetics, what happens if he decides to become a pro bodybuilder?

He's not very short, but he always has that dwarf-little person look. Really short legs, long torso. and very narrow heath clavicles.

And (Forsetmann) the German sprint ( velodrome ) cyclist, already trains like a bodybuilder, with the exception that he does not train upper body. Go on you tube and put Robert Fortsemann squatting in the search engine. He squats regularly some serious weights with text book form!!!! He's already a bodybuilder! Only from the waist down.
