What a no talent bitch trying to stay relevant

Hardly lacking in talent.  A lot of very talented athletes just don't make it in the NFL.

it's not just me.  It's 32 NFL coaching staffs.  It's the entire league.

Just you and a few other zealots screaming about persecution here, coach.

It was the entire league AFTER House got ahold of him. Go back and read my last post. Carefully.

He was in the news just two weeks ago and has 6 million followers on Facebook and Twitter. It doesn't sound like he needs to stay relevant or was trying to stay relevant. He simply addressed a rumor with a 1 minute video.

Great college player that couldn't make it in the nfl. Couldn't throw a football to save his life. QBs that can't make it the the big leagues is a common story. Similar to Johnny manziel,  Joey Harrington, etc.
People like coach hang on his nuts because he WAS a positive Christian player. Being a "good person" doesn't make him a good nfl player. But, Tim tebow is smart, he knows that trump is a shit person and doesn't support him. Unlike the small minded coach.

I assume that is typical in most professional sports. A player is good in the minors, then cant hack it in the majors.

He's a great man.  He just makes shit choices as a QB.

Also he seems to not actually be speaking at the RNC:
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/15/us/politics/tim-tebow-rnc-trump.html

Tebow doesn't seem like the type to break his word.  More Trump/RNC clusterfckery.  They'll do anything to get people to book tickets to this convention.  No top repubs will go, so they try to pack the place with Tebow rumors.

I still think the RNC will change the "conscience vote", at which point many of the delegates will abandon Trump.  We may still see Jeb/Rudy against Hilary/whoever in 2016.

I'm voting for Trump, and think he just made a solid VP pick.
BUT, I just saw the tentative speaker line up for the convention and it's pretty weak.
His kids and wife get several key slots. Plus, they have some obscure pro athletes in MMA and woman's golf listed.

I was shocked they didn't have that straight talking, conservative sheriff Clark from Milwaukee  speaking?
He's awesome and an unashamed Trump supporter.

How so?  I simply countered your argument that Tebow has no talent.  Not NFL QB talent, of course.

Have I hurt your feelings at some point for you to so badly misread one of my mildest postings ever ?

240, why do you think Tebow is not playing for the NFL? I mean, I assume if teams thought he could lead them to a super bowl, they would want him. From what I read on getbig, he did win a bunch of games.

He won a bunch of games when there wasn't much tape on him. Once New England crushed him in the playoffs it was over for him. All teams had to do is load up the defensive box and that took Tebow's legs away from him. When he can't run it means he HAS to throw. And what teams found out is he really couldn't throw. Bill Belichick brought him into New England and tried to talk him into being a slot type receiver. Tebow wanted no part of that. For him it was QB or nothing. He was a great College QB/player and has a lot to be proud of.

Sorry, Jr. But you don't take a player (from any sport) that's had basically the same throwing mechanics he's had probably since pop-warner that's brought him success all the way through taking an NFL team that was dead in the water to the the playoffs then turn him over to another team that sits him, then tries to bring in a baseball "guru" that became a QB "guru" and change that mechanic. Fact

The run first mentality isn't what is going to work at the NFL level for any QB after their first year. Lineman/linebackers are so fucking fast these days. Take a look at last years SB winner Denver. Von Miller took over the playoffs and was the number one reason they got a SB victory. So fucking fast around the corner that the best QB's in the league had no chance. The NFL is moving to guys lighter and faster on the ends. Which means teams are going to have to get rid of the ball even faster than before...Tom Brady has the fastest release of all QB's and he got crushed by Denvers lightning fast D lineman.

Yes, I watched the Denver vs. Patriots playoffs this past year. That Von Miller guy destroyed Brady. Brady seemed pretty lost out there!!

In his last year with the Jets, Rex Ryan was using him in trick packages where he'd line up out wide or sneak the handoff, stuff like that.  Didn't work out  ;D ;D

Tebow is maybe the greatest college player of all time, his NFL career just didn't work out.  Should stick to the college game w broadcasting/coaching

Cam Newton basically abandoned his ability to run in the Super Bowl because of Denver's speed. You could tell he was totally shocked. And Newton is a guy who can run people over. He was scared shitless...

It was the entire league AFTER House got ahold of him. Go back and read my last post. Carefully.

Oh, DEN cut him before then ;)

Denver knew what everyone knew.   He cannot throw.  He HAD to change mechanics because he had such a shitty completion percentage.

Coach, I know you admire him, and he's a great man.  But you can admit he was awesome in college, awesome role model, but just not good enough to be an NFL QB.

You want to pretend there's a massive conspiracy by all of these teams - you cannot accept what everyone else on this thread and all 32 coaches/owners already know - Tebow had a good run, got figured out, and was never good again.   Read that carefully as many times as you wish.  You're not an amazing wise man who figured out what all these great football minds could not.  You're just being a fanboy.  It's cool, we all do it from time to time.

DEN cut him for peyton.  The other teams dropped him for far lesser names ;)

in order for you to be right, 32 NFL front offices/coaches are compeltely wrong.   Is that likely, coach?

You're avoiding what I wrote and have no comeback. Not a fanboy. I look at it from biomechanics standpoint and so very few QB (yes, elite) coaches have disagreed with me and yes, I know a shit load and even have one that's one of my coaches for our QB clinics. Stop with your bullshit. House fucked him up at the wrong time.

House is good because he works with QB's with traditional throwing motions. Tebow is an unorthodox thrower but it obviously worked for him. House tried to change his throwing motion. That doesn't work. What works is perfecting an already natural throwing motion (or any mechanics) not change it completely. Don't start something you have absolutely ZERO knowledge about.

A perfect example would be Taylor Mays when he ran his 4.24 40. Because his start was unorthodox, would you change even though he ran that 4.24? If you say "yes" dismiss yourself from this fucking argument because it immediately makes you an asshat.

Now ya got it, son!! Peyton Manning. Dismissed.

that son shit again.   unreal, man.  i'm 40.  arent' you early 50s?

are you trying for some kinda urban thing with the flat hats, and calling eveyrone 'son'?   maybe you hang out a lot with high schoolers due to the coaching, but please, let me alert you - grown men don't call each other son.   it's really ignorant and usually only done by low-education people attempting to inflitrate a younger generation.

dont do it.   I like debating you, but I would never sit at the same table with someone in real life if they walked around saying shit like "know what I'm saying, son" to 40 year old men.   It's not just creepy, it's a clear attempt to drop your value by 2 levels to that of ignorant-ass high schoolers, as they (and NYC rappers from the late 1990s) are the only ones that call people son.  Picture a wu-tang rapper saying "is it really real, son...."  Yes, that is how we view it.

Coach, don't do it.   I like debating you.  But calling grown men son doesn't make you look wise.  It looks like you're trying to be down with high school seniors who are themselves trying to emulate 1990s rappers.   So it's all wrong.  On so many levels.

In case you missed 1990s rap scene

All of the NFL already reached a conclusion - Tebow isn't good enough to play at this level.

I'm gonna have a protein shake and get some rest.  Coach, i love debating you man, but this is no debate.  It's already been decided.  This discussion was great when he was actually battling for a lineup spot.

it's history now - tebow is retired, no team wants him.  He can't play at this level.  The teams all agree.  us debating something which was already decided is just a waste of time.

He runs fast.   His speed has nothing to do with your inability to admit what the rest of the world knows - Tebow makes poor decisions on the line of scrimmage.

So you're going to tell be someone like Barkley should be in the NFL for as long as he's been and Tebow shouldn't? Barkley is just one example.
