I can get a group of assholes together and put on a BLM tee and yell obscenities towards LEO... I dont have to check with the leaders of the movement to do it.

One of their leaders already condemned violence.

This killer had ties to the Military, not BLM.

BLM was started based on a lie. 

It started with that lie that Michael Brown had his hands up when he was killed.  That was a lie.  michael Brown was a fat street thug and criminal who robbed a store and then attacked an officer.
