Anything cool to do in Hertfordshire?

Thinking of taking my quick long weekend trip to England and my ancestors are from there and Gloucestershire. Figured I'd check it out. Thanks in advance.

Get to Hatfield Station and get the first train out of there to London.

Lol. I am now toying with just spending Christmas vacation in UK. I'm sick of doing my four Christmases thing with my kids. It's brutal. This way, I buy no gifts for anyone, and don't have to run around multiple car rides the week of Christmas.
