I've always had a basic grasp - you've stated that racism is subjective and people have different levels of tolerance around it, and you're not imposing your views on anyone. You said that early in the conversation.
When pressed on why you feel that Trump is racist, you couldn't really defend it. Then you chose to go the insult route, deflect and eventually back out.
No, you haven't had a basic grasp. 1) You didn't understand the comment about Melania Trump and claimed your response was sarcasm (which would have made no sense) . 2) You didn't understand the fact that simply assuming someone is Muslim doesn't constitute racial profiling since racial profiling is something cops do DURING THE COURSE OF THEIR JOBS. I'm not a cop. I
can't racial profile anymore than I can commit police corruption. 3)You weren't aware of some of the most controversial, highly publicized comments of Trump's campaign and, apparently, lack the basic ability to throw 3 words into google for a quick refresher.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I didn't back out because your debating skills are so scary good. I bowed out because this debate thread has been like talking to a child who doesn't follow the news at all and has no sense of reason. The fact that you insist on doing that thing where you address every line with a talking point only makes it worse. I have debated in threads that reached dozens of pages. You, yourself have even criticized my posts for being overly long. It's one thing to have a long drawn out debate with someone because you disagree. It's another thing when you're debating with someone who doesn't even understand most of what he's responding to.
