So Kevin didn't deliver enough 'cause he was out of practice. Which retired pro around 50 could do it ?
Don't mention Ronnie please....... :-X

I think enough time has passed and many fans are clamoring to see what either Peyton Manning or Kobe Bryant would do against today's generation of pros.

I hope they actually give special invitation to Jason Genova.

In all honesty, that would draw in even more attention than Levrone.
Jason might save the pro bodybuilding.

That would also shut the mouth of those whining about the guys these days being too big and having nothing an average gymrat can relate to.
Jason would be peoples champion.

Shawn Ray (only half joking). He's 51 and has been retired for 15 years now. His receptors would jump at the opportunity.   :D

I've always wondered how Michael Jordan would fare against this generation of pros....I'm sure with a few weeks of practice MJ will be good enough to carry a team to the playoffs.

he returned in 2001 and didn't make the playoffs in 2002 or 2003

Special Invites should be given out for guest posing purposes only, not for competition.  No need to be setting them up for failure and embarrassment.

Shawn prob has the best chance in the 212 class given he's always had great legs which was a strong point  :D

Shawn is so fat there is not enough time for him to diet.
He dies from age before reaching single digits again.

DR DUTCH, I don't think it will be just one old time IFBB Pro in a future Olympia connected line-up, but a whole series of former greats who are in the 50+ age category ..... and the fact that there was so damn much interest in Kevin this year could prove that I may be right and get the IFBB officials thinking about an invited 50+ Olympia (Olympia Senior?) event that could be held that Olympia weekend.

The very fact that Kevin entered this year may be that he was encouraged to do to ascertain if there would be any interest in such an event in the future.

I think I'd get off my ass to see the likes of Ray and Strydom and all the other past  Olympians get on that stage and compete for a buck or two.

That invite could possibly even include  those who came close to winning that coveted award.

Even Arnold and Franco which is most likely a damn near impossibility.

But impossible shit happens every day!

I'm not 100% sure about this but it just could be that Kevin was encouraged to enter in an effort to determine if there way any interest in promoting such an event.

And if Kevin's participation was simply his own idea without any IFBB encouragement, I'm almost 90% positive that the IFBB saw this interest and is giving it some serious consideration now.

Sorry, Getbiggers..... Too many words once again!

There was a masters O in the 90s but it just seems to have faded away....Robby and Vince Taylor won them each year I think.
