Bill Kazmaier was also a beast, but a shit wrestler in the early 1990's.

I saw all these guys in their heyday, when Stu Hart brought them here to Calgary with his Stampede Wrestling circuit.  Some of the strongest guys ever, like Ken Patera, Bill Kazmaier, Tom Magee, etc.  Even 'Strangler' Steve Disalvo.

There's a Musclebear channel on YouTube that has some pretty good Ted Arcidi wrestling footage.

And now he's paralyzed and wheelchair bound and about 100 pounds bodyweight due to a spinal chord injury.

Yeah, it's sad. I thought he would be one of the few who wouldn't end up a broken down wreck. I was wrong.

Wow, I didn't realise (looking back) that there were so many really powerful and massively built wrestlers.

Rick Rude deserves a mention. Not massive but ripped and very well built.

I agree with the person who said Lex Luger is arguably the most aesthetic wrestler ever, from a bodybuilding perspective. The Total Package.

Lex had a really good side chest, could hit it almost like arnold. I think ultimate warrior may have slightly edged him out though overall.
Surprised he or goldberg havent made the thread yet

Goldberg was a 6'3" 290 pound beast. Strong as fuck, agile, athletic and he had monster traps, delts and a thick neck to boot.

Yeah, maybe Warrior does edge out Lex a bit but also Warrior was a bodybuilder early on so that probably helped muscle-wise.

Goldberg was huge, might have even been natural (or I'm just being naive)... He's back in WWE now, interesting to see where that goes.

This is an interesting photo. The Dog Faced Gremlin was more built than Big Poppa Pump in the early days:
