I would say that Flex's appeal was probably attainability.  Even though that is pretty unlikely, it seems like his physique would be attainable when compared to other pros.

I could go for this look.  On the other hand, I would never want to look like most pros, even if I could snap my fingers to look like them.  But I would work my ass off to be able to walk around in public looking like this.   

That video clip began with Flex posing in the SUV window was the joint! "Look at the guy, he's in shape."
When he was walking around with Madeline his arms were bigger than than her waist.

Whatever happened to Richard Longwith?

Richard is my neighbor, we eat lunch a couple times a week.
He has a successful Limosine Biz here in YBL, he is re-married with 4 kids at 40yrs old.
His highlight last week was driving Paris Hilton and a Fan who won a "Day with Paris" where she dropped $20 G's on the fan!
Not a bad gig, Richard of course got a Phat Tip!

When was this video filmed? Because it says after the 1996 O, where he still has hair, but in the clips where he is wearing the black muscle shirt, he is very lean, and looks like he was traing for the 1997 Arnold, or after the 97 Arnold. The clip with Shawn Ray and Richard Longwith at Flex's house, show Flex bulked up, but bald. It seems as if the there were different clips but were edited together.

Not to mention, Flex's waist wasn't much bigger than hers.

I wonder how Flex and Darrem Charles managed to buy so many cars?  In Darrem's DVD he claims to have one million in assets.   

Massive debt is all I can think of.  Or maybe they were damn good at making investments.

Well Darrem is West Indian, and not to generalized, but their concept of money is to save  and invest, no sooo much "blingage", but just enough.
So Darrem might be one of the few that are doing very decent in terms of money.
