While not as explosive as the Coca-Cola, Mentos, and Nutella admixture, it tastes a lot better.

2:1 Coke to rum; add ice & liberal limes/lemons to taste. ( Going to down a few tonight with a potent PWO -- not lifting weights, though ;) )

Cuba libre, hermanos!

We just don't put people to death for no good reason. Most of those other countries do. Comparing the US to communist countries, like you just did with Cuba, is ridiculous.

Amazing...

Yeah sure! That's why when Castro was dying a few years ago, they had to fly in a doctor from Spain, to save his worthless life!

I'm glad the scumbag is dead! I wish I could be in Miami with my Cuban friends! It's going to be one hell of party there!

I have looked at Castro's face, and I can't help but crave KFC's Nashville Hot Chicken.

We've heard that about Canada, too:

http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/calgary/Long+Canadian+wait+times+send+patients+south+surgery+Video/9702357/story.html

Tampa, Fla. — Already a destination for its beaches, palm trees and Disney parks, Florida can now add medical tourism to its list of attractions as more and more Canadians visit for surgery.

Long wait times are increasingly driving patients south, including two Albertans who underwent surgery on the same day last month, and commiserated about feeling abandoned by an ailing system back home.

Can you believe this? I'd expect this from the President of Venezuela. Canada is done.

November 26, 2016
The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today issued the following statement on the death of former Cuban President Fidel Castro:
“It is with deep sorrow that I learned today of the death of Cuba’s longest serving President.
“Fidel Castro was a larger than life leader who served his people for almost half a century. A legendary revolutionary and orator, Mr. Castro made significant improvements to the education and healthcare of his island nation.
“While a controversial figure, both Mr. Castro’s supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for “el Comandante”.
“I know my father was very proud to call him a friend and I had the opportunity to meet Fidel when my father passed away. It was also a real honour to meet his three sons and his brother President Raúl Castro during my recent visit to Cuba.
“On behalf of all Canadians, Sophie and I offer our deepest condolences to the family, friends and many, many supporters of Mr. Castro. We join the people of Cuba today in mourning the loss of this remarkable leader.”

Got married in Cuba. The marriage has fallen apart but the revolution lives on.

a perfect toast to a long awaited death! I wish I could join you Singh... but unfortunately I don't/can't drink anymore lol...
Although I'm not Cuban for some reason I've been infatuated with Cuba and its history for many many years... probably since my Jr HS days.
It's always been a dream of mine to one day visit that beautiful country and now with many sanctions being lifted that dream just may come to fruition.

Astounding theatrical posturing, but not surprising that it comes from the scion of the multiculturalist Pierre.

Cuba is a one-party state, viz. a socialist state.

Good Lord, even Parador offered its citizens more options than Cuba:

Many say that Cuba had an extremely good education system and the people of Cuba were very intelligent. What did Cuba make? Did they have to have weapons shipped in or do they make their own highly advanced weapons and tanks etc. And i'm guessing with their advanced technological minds that building a nuke would be child's play for them and must have many of them. Does the Cuban automobile fly? Probably runs on water...
