Yes, I do speak from work experience. When booking people into intake, you have to strip search and check their ass for hidden drugs. When I worked with people on work release, they had to be checked when they got back from their places.I never found any phones as I worked in corrections during the late 90's early 2000. The majority of stuff I found in people's asses was just drugs like ecstasy and crack cocaine in chapstick tubes. There were no outlets in the cells so no need to smuggle electronics.
