Looked good At the 95 Olympia as well, but I think the 97 grand prix he was still better. Was lighter color as well.

these pics really show how much he declined after the 90's

94 - 97 was his peak, best ever in my eyes and would win the O today

98 was his biggest but he wasn't conditioned enough and i thought his proportions started to get out of whack, 99 was the start of the decline with the shrinking legs and growing waistline

during that 2002 tour he lost to a guy named jaroslav horvath

Actually 98 was better than 97 imo. I also believe he was heavier/larger in 1997 than he was in 1998.

As far as I know he was training 2-3 months before a contest pretty much his entire career, he stated this after his pec tear or something like that, that he would get burn out

This. He started focusing on his singing career and would let his bodyweight drop to some ridiculously low weight in the offseason starting in 1999. Prior to that he went up to 265-275 pounds in the offseason. Up until 1998 he wanted to chase Dorian in the mass department and he didn't know until the very end if Dorian would be competing in 1998 so he beefed up for the competition just in case. That would never happen again post 1998. He never once again saw 250 pounds onstage post 1998 and didn't even try to chase Ronnie's size. The irony is that he was larger than Ronnie both in 1997 AND in 1998 (no one thought Ronnie was a threat that year).
