He doesn't need to be a firefighter, he was doing well enough to quit his daytime job. He might go through marriages like donuts but the guy isn't stupid, him and Amanda doing quite well with finances and it's not like he's buying 100k cars or living beyond his means
Texas housing isn't so much, he's had the mustang since his teen yrs, so he's only bought the caddy and truck which is very affordable
