I noticed that too, with Brexit the pound fell vs the Euro and price rises on top, I wasn't impressed.

Bearing in mind you are supposed to work in the financial sector thats hardly a stretch....

Very nice two tone djii been contemplating one of those myself but last year was an expensive watch year.

I'm way too obsessed with watches too! Bought an AP last year but sold an old Rolex (got 80% of what I paid for it)

Wow that's sweet! There are few watches that are a decent "investment". I haven't made money on any of mine but I have worn them for many years and sold them for 75-85% of what I paid.

I can say I've never lost money on a Rolex.Flipped about 10 watches in the last year and made money on them all.Mainly cause I'm friends with an AD so deals are great usually.

Depends where you live in a small city yes maybe, bigger city is harder. Too much competition and the dealer margins are small on Rolex.  I want to say 25-30 %?

Yeah definitely.I got a deep blue for 10500 from my AD in may and sold it for 12500 next day cause nobody could find them were I live as most ADs around here suck. Then I bought another deep blue for myself as it is prob my favorite ss watch.yeah my AD pays 62% of msrp,so after the usual 5-10% discount for regulars puts it around that 25-30%.
