I change my mind all the time.  But it's always based on the facts.  I follow the facts wherever they lead.  But nice try with the projection again.

If you change your mind all the time, it is not reflected in your Getbig posts. You are predictable more often than you know.

People with strong beliefs tend to project them onto others. When you accuse me of projection, it makes me laugh because you frequently do this as well.

Oh that's absolute BS.  You engage in projection all the time.

But I am very predictable.  I follow the facts.  I make decisions based on facts, not emotion.  I know that might seem foreign to a leftist, but that's how I roll.

LOL!

Right, that is exactly what I said; you are predictable. Your response is a good example of just how predictable you are.

If you believe I make decisions emotionally, you're mistaken. I am often accused by the people who know me best, my family, of being dispassionate.

Yes.  Predictable.   :)

Bruh.  I can probably count on one hand the number of leftists who make decisions based on facts instead of emotion.  You're not one of them.  Just go read any of your posts about Trump.  Ninety percent emotion.  You couldn't even acknowledge his success, the success of his kids, the absolute lies told about him (e.g., "very fine people,"), etc.  And you intentionally shield yourself from conservative commentary, which explains why so many of your views are uninformed and misinformed.  None of this is really a criticism, so I hope you don't take it personally.  Just making an observation.  You're not unlike the overwhelming majority of leftists.

I, unemotionally, disagree with your response almost entirely.

How many leftists do you personally know well enough to know when they do and do not make decisions based on emotion?

There is one thing you got right and that I am like an overwhelming majority of leftists. But I am not sure you know what the majority of leftists are like because you most often example the actions of a minority of leftists.

How many leftists do I know?  Seriously?  Do you know where I live?  It's the bluest state in the country.  Nearly all of my business partners, many of my employees (including my admin assistant) are leftists.  My best friend, the smartest man I know, is not really a leftist, but he has TDS.  I'm surrounded by leftists.  And I read things like the Huffington Post every day, so I know exactly what leftists are saying and thinking.

If you actually broadened your worldview and exposed yourself to opposing viewpoints, it might affect how you process certain issues.  (Or not.)  But it's healthy, and it's not too late for an old dog to learn new tricks.   :)

Hawaii is indeed considered the bluest state in the nation, so you got that right. Oregon is also blue but not as blue as Hawaii. Therefore, it follows that I am exposed to more republicans with opposing viewpoints than you are.

My worldview is influenced by relatives and friends who live in many parts of the world, including Denmark, New Zeeland, South Africa, Germany, Mexico, France, Italy, Canada, and England. My family is also scattered all over the U.S. from Maine to California, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Hawaii. And yes, I have enough regular contact with these folks to have a surprisingly good understanding of their views on various subjects, including politics. Maybe, just maybe my worldview is not as limited as you think it is.

One of my absolute best friends whom I have known since moving to Oregon over 60 years ago was a staunch conservative republican up until Trump was first elected in 2016.

Who are you calling a dog? LOL! That's okay, I prefer dogs to cats. I am old, but I don't feel old or set in my ways.  ;)

I'm always trying to learn.  I'm having multiple discussions right now about vaccines:  the flu shot, Covid, and the necessity of giving a Hepatitis B vaccine to newborns.  Interesting discussions and I like hearing other people's viewpoints.
