If you guys are too lazy/illiterate to read the massive Snowball book, check this docu out.
IMO one can learn a lot from Buffett. Not just about his philosophy of investing (which most people don't have patience to follow anyway) but about life in general.
One of the most inspiring people alive and my personal favorites.

You really need to be critical of what he did during the 2008/09 financial crisis.  60-70% of Buffett's assets were wiped out during that time... most people don't know that.  Buffett 'invested' a few billion into the big 6 troubled banks only after he was promised a 10% coupon and was given inside info that the Treasury and Fed Reserve were going to print trillions of dollars to keep these zombie banks afloat.  

Buffett is a crony capitalist, globalist, inside trader, collectivist and a destroyer of jobs... every company he buys he's ends up firing 50% of the workforce.  He licked Obama's asshole when he was POTUS.  He hates gold (unlike his father).  

I'm going to have a party when Buffett and Charlie Munger drop dead.

My Aunt lived to 93 and drank a 6 pack of Pepsi every single day of her life for prob 40 years and she ate most of her meals from the Schwans truck. Who gives fuck what he eats, there are many others who ate that way who are dead.

I grandpa lived into his 90's. Everybody thought he'd be the first to die, but he outlived all his bros & sisters a atl d my grandma n her sisters. Dude was 6'+ (6'4"?, but shrank down to 6ft overvtime) & 320lbs vast majority of his life. Ate pancakes eggs n sausage every morning and porkchops everyday plus sweets/cakes(grandmanwas a baker/cook.) and pot after pot of coffee. Plus smoking unfiltered Chesterfield and riding an open cab tractor all day into his 80's. Dudes skin was like a baseball glove from the 1920's. Had kidney & heart failure as well as leukaemia in his last years. Some ppls bodies are resilient.

All hair splitting aside, I think it's important to eat things that you like.

If you can find a bunch of relatively healthy foods, try cooking them at home, and try seeing if they can align somewhat with the general macro breakdown you should be hitting, you're wayyyyy ahead of the curve.

So many fatasses try counting calories, hitting very rigid macro breakdowns, meal prepping shitty meals, etc, and they all fail. I just try cooking at home, eat somewhat healthy (although I never compromise taste for health - food should taste amazing) and eat infrequently (intermittent fasting). I'm under 10% body fat year round and I never have an unhealthy relationship with food, never have to deprive myself, never eat baked or boiled chicken breasts or any bullshit like that. Just eat tasty food, people. You'll be happier.

adullis posted a study here some.years ago where a phd in nutrition did a shit diet i.e. chips, candy, chocolates and such but kept his total cal intake low and he lost weight as expected but, lo and behold, his health profiles vastly improved ie lower blood pressure, lowered heart hate and his blood markera all improved FACT
