Did away with pre-existing conditions and allowed dependent children to stay on parents health Ins policy until age 26. While a few things need to be tweeked ,  the GOP will keep some of these key provisions in their health care reforms.

I could go on, but these are some of the high lights.

Anything good that happened in the last 8 years didn't have anything to do with Obama as POTUS.

The deportation of "thousands of illegal immigrants" included "thousands" who were turned away at the border.  In other words, they manipulated the numbers. 

The unemployment rate has to be considered together the labor participation rate.

In my OPINION, the avg working slob is bummed out with how their life turned out.
They want some great leader  to wave a magic wand and make life great again.

But most  are Al Bundy , living a life of quiet desperation.
They feel trapped in a loveless marriage or worse they are divorced and alone.
They struggle to afford to pay the bills, going to a job that sucks the life out of them.

Yeah, I think Obama was a big letdown and he took away any 'magic' that Hillary might've capitalized with.  She'd really hoped to draw everyone into the idea that a first female in the WH would be a wonderful thing just based on that alone... but Obama with his failed promise of a novelty act sort of ended all that.

Hillary was not the kind of political figure that got people excited to support her.
Party and politics aside, Obama and Trump did inspire a lot of people to support them.
