I've come to appreciate the original more as times gone on,  it was an original, tight action horror movie, a twist on a normal slasher. T2 is of course one of the greatest if not greatest sequel of all time with groundbreaking fx which still hold up today. T2 is virtually ageless whereas t1 is dated in parts.

john connor was annoying, sarah was a total bitch, too many corny jokes, arnold was much better as the evil terminator

typical hollywood blockbuster that people like more because it has more explosions, higher budget, and silly comedy relief

the first movie was much more serious, which is how it should be considering the plot of the movie

He's looking worse for wear. He seems to have been struggling with weight issues for many years now and it looks like he's quite the junkie. He was a good looking and THIN kid. We're the same exact age (39 years old). Let's see what you look like in a decade though Nether ;-).

The first Terminator was far darker and almost came across as a slasher horror movie. T2 was an amazing movie though. There is no denying that. BTW, the original Terminator movie was based on 2 Outer Limits episodes: 1. The Man Who Was Never Born, and 2. Soldier.

Gotta go with Earl on this, especially the part about the "good" terminator vs evil.

T2 was still very good though.

But, as sequels go, ESB rules it.
