“Yep, high-powered rifles nestled in there – just in case, heaven forbid, they are needed - with the woods and the irons and probably one of those little stubby pencils,” reported the local Florida paper.

If before the election anybody had said illegals entering would be down 50%+ just by his taking office they would have been called a liar and a fool.  But there it is.  And it will continue and they will continue to get rid of ones here also.  A supposedly insolvable problem getting better every day.

From a symbolic point of view Trump was the needed refresher/identity changer.
Never forget though that he is a business man who is an expert at !selling! himself to an audience. On top of that there are the decision makers(lobbies) in the shadows which are far more important to consider than the petty toupee and his guy comedy.
He can't work wonders - if he doesn't deliver a part of the US has to stand up united and say "no more".
