Releasing goldfish
« on: May 21, 2017, 02:04:34 PM »
I have been going to the pet shop in fulham and buying goldfish with the kids and then 'perhaps' releasing them in bishops park pond. I havent seen any predatory fish, but also I havent seen the goldfish a second time. They slink off into the Canadian pond weed. I also bought live food, river shrimp and chucked a few bags of that in. There are a lot of daphnea in the pond this time of year so plenty of food for both. Im wondering if next year they will have grown a lot. I have contemplated buying some koi which grow bigger, but its too much effort so far.
