What gets me is the fucked up responses .

First off he is not a child soldier in the sense of those kids in africa. His father indoctrined him,
second he was in afghanistan fighting, FFS he is from Egypt
Third canada did not send him over to fight with whomever, they should not be apologizing let alone paying him

Fuck you too and everyone else who advocates torture.  Its one thing if this guy was an adult at the time but he wasn't....he was a 15 year old child soldier who was brainwashed by his father.  With that being said, there was no reason for our government to do the things we did to that kid no matter what he was accused off.  Makes us no better than the terrorist.  His confession was clearly under torture which makes it worthless and honestly, I hardly doubt that he threw a grenade seeing as how he was shot twice in a back and covered with rubble after the building was bombed.
