Just wanted to be a Pro that bad. Now when PDI folds under after a year or twojust like the WBF you a fucked your self with the IFBB

I think we can all agree that there are some people that need to "Earn" their pro card in the PDI and there are others that have paid their dues long enough and should be granted "Pro Status" right off the bat. People like Vinny, Palumbo and others that have just missed out deserve this...

In Vinnie's case not really...I don't want to speak for him but he is a little bit older now and chances are he was not gonna win a pro card the conventional way, he could wait and win the masters nationals but in reality can anyone really name any masters nationals winners that made a splash in the IFBB besides Dan Youngblood? Vinne should have been a pro a long time ago...you win 3 national level shows..what more do they want? Go check out pics of Vinny from the 93 USA, awsome physique and if that ain't pro worthy, what is?

i sit back and just read the boards, but i feel i need to post on this matter.

vinnie was on a strong roll from 1989 to 2000:

overall suburban 1989
2nd middle wt, nj state 1989
1st middle wt, nj state 1992
1st middle wt, jr usa 1992
2nd middle wt, jr nationals 1993
1st middle wt, usa 1993
5th middle wt, nationals 1994
5th middle wt, nationals 1995
1st lightheavy wt, jr nationals 1997
4th lightheavy wt, nationals 1997
3rd lightheavy wt, nationals 1999
3rd lightheavy wt, nationals 2000

then went down to 13th place in 2003 at the nationals....being very burned out

then made a nice comeback last year, cracking the top 5 again in the lightheavy's at the nationals again....not his best, but it looked like his old form was starting to show again.

ok now the pdi comes along, and he is turning 39 this year..ok thats not old but ANYONE of you who has done what vinnie has done...at this point in his life would compete in the NOC too.

I think Vinnie looks good, and easily has a pro level physique. Personally, I will take a tight waist over a bloated belly anyday. And yeah...not to call Vinnie an old geezer or anything...but at 39 it hardly makes sense to wait around for the IFBB pro card

Whats funny is how ragging the PDI is slowing down. The IFBB Masters was a joke not even talking about the results but the overall show. Next is the Colorado Pro which should be the best showin history cause our very own master BB promoter is doing it. The IFBB is killing themselves slowly and giving the PDI more strength. I love it.

I hear you. I don't want the IFBB to fail, honestly. I want there to be at least two BBing federations so that everyone stays honest and the athletes can make a living doing it.

The IFBB has made some huge foulups recently, though. The Masters mess. The fact it's the 17th and still no official Colorado Pro list. The PDI is getting a chance giftwrapped!

Its just that the PDI hasn't done anything new recently. The winds have changed for now, but don't worry we'll get back to ragging on the PDI soon enough. Enjoy the peace.
