He is born in July. I can't recall the date. If I had to guess now, I would say between the 18th and 22nd. I'm going by memory, so that could be way off.
He was born in 1964, 1965, of 1966. He was likely 5'9.5" in his prime, and is likely still around there. You can call it 5'10. But the magazines would normally report a birth year of 1965, and a height of 5'9. So anyone is welcome to hazard a more accurate guess based on that information.
Phucked if I know.
PS - Albert Beckles genuine year of birth was 1938. That is not seriously in dispute. Numerous birth years have changed on IMDB [names may be spelled wrong, feel free to correct me, but I can't be azzed to check Google now]:
- Rachel MacAdams: from either 1974 or 1975 [I think 1975] to 1978 currently [or maybe it's 1979, I only checked once, and that was a few months ago.
- Julianne Moore: from 1956 to 1960.
- Bolo Yeung [Chong Li in Bloodsport]: from 1938 to 1946.
Normally people lie about being YOUNGER than they are. I guess for Kev, it is more impressive to lie about being OLDER. Likewise, with his height rounded down to 5'9, because 5'9 and 260-lb sounded more impressive than 5'10 and 260-lb [although that is debatable. So I suspect Kev is either the age he is currently claiming [53, turning 54 this July, with a birth year of 1964], or is YOUNGER than he is [with 1965 being my guess, not 1966, and not any younger than that]. In the 1999 Mr. Olympia commentary [or maybe the Battle for the Olympia commentary, but I think the Olympia contest/DVD itself], Shawn Ray claimed that "Kevin is either 34 or 35 if you got him to tell the truth], which leads me to believe he may have claimed a 1966 birth date prior to 2000. If my memory is correct, FLEX magazine was reporting Kev's 1965 birth year in 2000-2001, which was when I started following bodybuilding.
This is why from memory, and was typed on here over the course of the past five minutes.
EDITED TO ADD: "This was from my memory", not "This is why from memory". No idea what happened there. It might have been the crack I smoked earlier. JK - That was a line from the first Scary Movie movie, which I watched in the summer of 2000, just prior to when I started following bodybuilding.
PPS - I fear I am losing my memory. I may also be a hypochondriac though. I also fear for everyone's health.
