the way I see it, the IFBB penalized certain bodybuilders who were too huge, Markus Ruhl was penalized too, it started with female bodybuilders but eventually it affected male bodybuilders. The thing was, it was obvious bodybuilding was becoming about who can abuse steroids the most, so if someone looked completely steroid the max, they would not place that high, because bodybuilding was already suffering from a bad steroid reputation. the irony is...besides the colour being filtered/changed...that photo is real I can still recall when it first appeared in musclemag international back in 93-94...we couldn’t believe a human could actually look like that...if it was just standing there competition...Paul was a 10 time O champion...

No drugs AND no eating tons of food, no training.
It's not like he just took drugs, without the other two things, and grew.
And the thing is, he looks more relaxed than ever. And he can fit into normal clothes.

I saw Paul virtually everyday in the early 1990s and he was definitely over 6 feet. I was 6'2" at the time
but have loss almost an inch due to age and a compressed disk.

And he does look shopped -- in real life!

Easily the most impressive bber I've ever seen in my life while training at Gold's Venice. Also, the

Saw Wheeler off season before 99 O at 285.He was cartoon like. Trained in same gym with Dillett Golds in Sunrise, FL, before he moved to So. Cal. Dillett was just inhuman.

Other guys that I’ve seen in person that were impressive besides Ronnie in 03 were art atwood and Quincy Taylor

Height makes it much more impressive, art was 5’11 still tall for a bber and Quincy was massive like 6’4
