I want to dedicate this thread to natural bodybuilders only. I have nothing against all those who took steroids, but there's greater glory to all of those who did it the natural way. Enjoy.

How is it insulting? I suppose if you want to be insulted you could take it that way. Tell me, has any pro bodybuilder truly come clean and honest about anything. The sport as a whole is built up on inflated numbers whether it be height, bodyweight, ones poundage lifted on bench, arm size, chest size. Why should this be any different.
   Mike has built a business for himself in an industry that eats itself everyday. Yet he has been at it since the early 90s and just keeps getting better. That earns my respect. I have no problem with Mike, I find his videos to be entertaining and great for training motivation. I have no hate towards the man.

As far as the natural bodybuilding competitions go, it varies depending on the organization and the promoter of the event. Some natural contests require 12 months drug-free, others require 5 years or 7 years, etc. Some organizations are life-time drug-free. The problem is with the testing. Urine tests can only test for what is in the system at the time of the testing. Oral steroids and water based injectibles get out of the system fast so someone could be using drugs in prep for a contest and get off the drugs with enough time to have them get out of the system so the urine test doesn't pick it up. I've heard that hair analysis is more accurate and goes back further but I don't know of any natural contests that use hair analysis or even blood testing. The most widely used method of testing is the polygraph test for natural bodybuilding contests because it is cheaper for the promoter and it's easier to test all the competitors compared to urine testing in which only a few competitors end up getting tested because of the cost involved.
