Thanks! I still remember the teacher telling me I was leaving school early and not knowing why. my older brother was picking me up to go and meet him. we were both huge Warrior fans at the time. Fuck, everyone was. that's why they had just put the IC belt on him. he was exploding in popularity.

Arnold, fully gassed, is unquestionably the better competitive/stage bodybuilder; but just standing around, Warrior was WAY more physically imposing.

As example, Arnie’s shoulders were drooped and (relatively) slight. Warrior’s were wide and powerful. Plus, he was just a thicker-framed man.

Put it this way, at their peaks, Arnold, wearing Warrior’s wrestling getup, wouldn’t look half as awesome. More refined, sure.

Arnold was one of the all-time greatest, no doubt, but his was a baffling physique. Like, on stage, posing, it all “worked”.

Smaller joints are usually better for bodybuilding.

In his Encylopedia Arnold says people would often be surprised how relatively small his wrists were, he said he had "small bones, big muscles".

The last match he wrestled, in Spain I think... dude could barely walk. It was sad. Went 15 minutes or something. He was blown up to hell before he got in the ring. I honestly kept thinking he would croak at any second while I was watching it. Gasping for air.

Even the crowd was completely silent.

I always wondered if the wrestlers comprehended that it's enough to somewhat big and sign autographs... no need to destroy their legacy.
