I only lease. After 3 years I'm bored with whatever car I have, it feels dated, and I don't want to deal with the inevitable maintenance hassles. I live in the northeast and don't commute regularly by car so excess mileage isn't a concern.

VW passat 2018 for 15K ???
Starts at $ 38K in Europe.

check cargurus. a lot of dealers in the us have the 2018 base s model for 15k. not fancy, but good size new car with 6 year bumper to bumper warranty.

lease is a good option if you dont need a lot of miles. i average 15k plus some more on my truck. if i did less than 10k i would lease.

Haha. Actually I'm a white american of German heritage.

Not, saying the ATS is the best looking or best luxury sedan. IMO it may be the best value and fun to drive.

get an IS lexus with a manual transmission

I have been researching new cars. Most likely going to pick up a Cadillac ATS Luxury AWD. Can pick one of these up for less than a well equipped Camry or Accord.

Sedans are being heavily discounted right now with the popularity of SUV's. 2018 VW Passat starts under 15k for a decent mid size car with huge back seat.

I own a CTS before, very nice and none of the problems you expect to have a domestic car.New accords are nice. Especially with the 2.0 turbo.
