But if he were that, would he fire people via twitter? Would he succumb to pressure to stop the policy of separating kids from their parents? Would he have not said he saw no reason to believe Russia was involved in Tampering with the election while standing next to Putin? Those seem like bitch moves
Those childish questions are exactly why average people have no idea how political office works. If he could do it all his way, he would, and we'd be better for it. Alas, half the Congress is sabotaging him and the other half are career Republicans who don't want their little picnic disturbed so they're opposing him too, scared shitless they'll have to get real jobs next November. You also left out the part of him not building the wall - which can also be explained by Congress refusing him the funds for it while approving a $1 trillion+ budget that basically could've paid for 40 walls.
Like I said, if Bernie had been elected, he'd have had to back down from all his campaign promises as well and become just another President who tries to be everything to everyone but gets nothing accomplished. The American political system is gridlocked and broken, just like its immigration service, its corrupt border police and its crumbling infrastructure and 15+ million illegals living in the shadows. The country's a mess. Only a strong man can fix it, and we have one, but he's hamstrung every time he tries to get something moving.
