I am a business owner and employ 23-25 people depending on who shows up on any given day.  That said, finding people to work, especially when people hear about how good the economy is makes it very hard to find unskilled labor.  I have never had an illegal work for me, nor would I.  But just because the economy is humming doesn't automatically qualify someone who holds a shovel to get a $5 hour raise.  There are some who do not understand this in the labor force.
I just did reviews...lmao, you're dead on. ;D

I live in Houston and have a job. Even had two for years to pay for my bbing.

I would retire in the following areas if i could:

Texas - maybe Galveston
Louisiana - Shreveport
California - Central Coast
Florida - SW region

What about Senator Feinstein's driver of 20 years being a Chinese spy?

For everything you can find on Trump, I can find on his enemies. You know this is a battle neither of us can win.

Fuck , I was right K Wong is Chings 'employee'  ;D

Funny, a couple of hours ago I was reading about the median household income in Texas.

According to this website* it was $56,500 in 2016. Apparently, there's no income tax but you still pay some taxes and are left with a net pay of $46,500 (I have no idea how this works in the US).

I couldn't find something representative about the cost of living for a familiy of 4. Too much variation.

I'm curious because I saw a video about how a typical texas household is able to save a couple of thousand dollars per month. I'm not sure if that's true or not.

Sounds like you're doing great financially. Props to you.

Try Uchi at 6 pm any day of the week and you'll add sushi to the list...

Musashino is better than they are anyway, in my opinion. I'm South Austin and we have a GREAT restaurant here called Eurasia down in Oak Hill. Indonesian.... It's sushi and seafood primarily but they do offer other dishes and have a huge menu... no I don't own the place, but what I've invested there lately, I feel like I should at least have a booth in my name ;)

Uchi and the one upstairs in the Warehouse district (I forget it's name)are the exceptions. Uchi is always rated #1 or 2 though I think it is overrated. I'll have to try Eurasia next time I'm in town

I have a memory of Freeport as a preteen:

There was a failed sea food restaurant...it had become a massage parlor/house of fun.

Part of the sea food restaurant sign remained...It said...

CRABS!!!   CRABS!!!   CRABS!!!

Not really. Showing up to work is not a reason for an immediate raise in pay. You must elevate yourself and show that you’re worth the extra money. It only trickles down if everybody pulls their weight equally.

who cares, the Dems want to give citizenship to 15 million illegals

No they don't but I'm sure you truly believe it.

Glad you at least have the balls to admit that you don't mind Trumptard being a complete fucking hypocrite.

Get yourself down to Mar-A-Lago and apply for a job.  I'm sure Trump will give you a chance.

No thanks

Seems more likely a job you could aspire to some day

Haha. Straw Man banished from the politics forum and back to triggering off every post in the G&O, where winning or being right isn't necessary as long as you troll all day.
