House of 1000 Corpses
Devils Rejects
Almost all the Alien movies
Some of the Paranormal Activity movies
28 Days Later
28 Weeks Later
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Most of the Halloween movies

For those who liked Creep, I turned it off after 10 minutes, sucked.

Great choices... Looking FWD to the new Rob Zombie "Rejects" movie, coming out next year I believe.
Creep was scary, more of an eerie type of weirdo thing. The scary part, is that there are people out there like him.

Really?

I was so disappointed, me and the g/f were going to leave hallf way through, but persevered until the end.

King of hell!?!? WTF Made no sence what so ever...the best but was the kid being decapitated, everything else  ::) ::) ::)

I struggle with a lot of films as they rarely hold my attention and are more often than not uber predictable.

Texas Chainsaw etc are what a horror should be, hyper gory and creepy as shit.....

everybody has their own taste

i like texas chaninsaw massacre but i don't think it's creepy in a way that causes me to lose sleep, i like to think i can at least somewhat defend myself against those people unlike a ghost

i still think the scariest movie i saw was pet sematary

i saw the new halloween, i think it sucked the whole premise of laurie preparing for michael for 40 years was just stupid, everybody seemed to hate H20 but it made sense to fake her death and move away unlike this shit cash in "H40"

I watched the new Halloween. Not a single scare in that movie. I like the fact it was a direct sequel to the first, but it was largely disappointing. Some good moments in it but I laughed when it pushed the modern Hollywood feminist agenda.

I saw John Carpenter and his band in concert a few hours later, second time I've seen him live, great show if you ever get the chance.

Would love to see“ A nightmare in the Room 7”

AKA - "The Haunting of Bob Cicherillo". Look for the Uncut Japanese version that contains the infamous arm pit scene.

I think there's a really nice version of this on Netflix now. I remember how happy I was to find a VHS copy at a video store sale as a kid, gosh 25 years ago at least.

Another good serial killer film, if you can find the real uncut version (some versions are cut by 5 - 10 minutes) is this one here -

.

My mom brought it home years ago (1996ish), thinking it would be a "Silence of The Lambs" type film. It turned out to be one on the nastiest, yet most suspenseful serial killer films I've seen. The tricks to find the version with the "shitting scene", it's the real one, and universally cut out of most copies.

A friend and I rented it a few times. Not bad. The lead actor had an impressive resume in the genre:

I remember seeing that as a teen in VHS - was not really prepared for what a mind f that would be.

Knowing based on a true story made it even more disturbing.

Saw Halloween yesterday, didn't mind it, nothing special. (Not good, not bad). Silly story,  having the secret basement, prepper, etc.
But on a cold, rainy, shitty day here in NE, it was something to do. Then went for wings and beer after-ward, so... Good day...

The original THE FLY. Last scene shows a smll fly wuth a man's head stuch in a spider web 'sqeeking. "Help me! Help me!" as a spider crawls in his direction.VERY CREEPY!

And a long forgotten movie about a bunch of overnight guests who had to lock their bedroom doors at 9:00 PM and hear a 'squish-squash' sound passing by in the hallway.

They soon discover that it is a huge frog with a distorted man's head (the mansion's owner)  heading out to the pond for a nightly dip who goes beserk when he is discovered and kills them with his tongue like a real frog catches a fly!

Or something like that!

Very creepy!

Haunte Tension was good.

Quarantine was decent too.  (The one with the girl from the Dexter series.)

Was that required viewing at the elite Chinese preparatory school you attended in the 1980s?

I had to pause it at one point to catch my breath. Just about the most disturbing film I've seen.

Some good entries here.

Last night I watched The Exorcist III. Been a long time. It’s quite decent, especially after the horrendous part 2. The scene with the nurse leaving the room ... and the quickly trailing white-draped attacker ... is always badass.

Took my wife to see this movie. She was not happy about it.
