It is the third item on the top row of clickable buttons it looks like this: S Another option is to bracket [] the letter S using your keyboard at the beginning of what you want to strike out and bracket []  /S at the end. Welcome to computer language.

Don't have an iPad so don't know if it can be done, but probably so. It works on an Android.
