While I appreciate your respect and kindness, I feel like this incident should have run it's course by now. People complain about the media and yet they feed it. It's been said the kid received death treats. If I were him, the last thing I would do is something that's guaranteed to keep the media attention on me.
these videos seldom tell the whole story. That's why remarks about 'fake' media ring so true. At the least, media misrepresents events and frequently jumps to inaccurate conclusions. I'm guessing that no Getbig poster attended that event. We watched a video which likely sensationalized and thus distorted the demonstration. And yet armed with no firsthand knowledge, we continue to discuss it. Let it go.
Run it's course? Let it go? You mean like you've done with non-existent collusion, and some silly remarks Trump's made that you heard out of context from edited clips?
This kid's name and that pic are in the minds of everyone that went off on him, and those who followed the story.
You dodged the issue I posted as always. Imagine being him when he's fresh out of college, and every HR person doesn't even bother reading his resume or application beyond his name (which has been smeared).....how likely do you think he is to be considered for the job knowing the controversy it might cause in the office?
You really don't think a 16 yr. old kid that was negligently and maliciously portrayed as the face of white privilege and racism, and who did nothing wrong (proven) deserves no financial compensation for what he has/will endure in life as a result of this?

How much ad revenue do you think MSM "earned" for the spike in viewers/listeners/readers " due to this kid's act of doing......nothing but standing still and smiling?
