In todays day and age, with the amount of accusations that end up being false, he should be allowed to compete and earn a living, what ever happened to the presumption of innocence. As Mr olympia the decision to not allow him to compete is an expensive one, he should lawyer up and seek compensation.

It should be that way but the Mr. Olympia contest promoters simply can't take that chance with the bad press and possible boycott of all sponsors.  Usually they say bad press is better than no press but I don't think that holds true here.

I agree with BOOTY and  HONEST, but I also find it difficult to disagree with the IFBB decision .... but I still do think that the IFBB should have asked Rhoden to step-aside voluntarily until a court decision was made.

And if that court decision PROVES that the accuser is lieing .... she should be held accountable for all the financal and mental misery that the accused has suffered up to now ... and into the future.

And that trial against a lieing accuser sould be a part and parcel of the same case in which the accused was determined to be innocent, so that the innocent party would not have to wait for an extended period of time  before receiving an appropriate financial remuneration which I personally feel woild be in the millions.

A lieing accuser should never depart a court-room scott free!

Look up 'An eye for an eye' ... which our justice system seldom 'sees'.

I agree the accuser should be punished if they lie but it's just as difficult to prove the accuser is lying as it is to prove the accused did it.  There have been several women in the past few years who have admitted they lied on Facebook/Instagram and the accused (and convicted) was released from prison but nothing happened to the woman.  One case was a guy who had a full ride scholarship to USC to play football and I think the Seahawks let him try out after he was released.  The courts fear if they punish those who don't get convictions against the accused then victims will be afraid to come forward.

Agreed, but unless an accuser ADMITS that she lied how can anyone determine it?  If two people have sex and she says she was raped and the jury doesn't believe the evidence proves rape do they automatically charge the woman with a false rape charge?  We know that will never happen.

Yes, I agree with what ya said above, but in the court of public opinion ... if Rhoden is found innocent .... she is automatically the guilty party.

The decision to stand him down is a commercial one to protect the ifbb mr olympia brand, but where he's innocent he should be able to claim compensation from them. In business there are many decisions where you can't really win, If it was done under a standard employment agreement the employee could push for reinstatement as he is afforded the presumption of innocence. In a sense this situation is similar I can see lawyers lining up for this if he does get off.
Theres no excuse for his behaviour if true, but what was she doing going to his hotel room, guest posing bodybuilders always nail the local figure bikes when in down its been going on as long as schmoes been sponsoring bodybuilders.
