What’s money got to do with it when his Heart goes out The Fight.
Just like Joshua quit against Ruiz & Far More Money & Status at Stake
His 1st Big Fight In MSG And He quit - He’d had enough his Heart
Wasn’t in it anymore.

Money is a great motivator plus an extra million would be great for his retirement, son etc

Hmmm True - Then again Getting Hit & Hurt and losing Heart is A Real De-Motivator
And we saw that Happen.

His payday would have been a $1mil (as for Bader) he has a few fights left in his career....he’s not going to throw the fight for that kind of $$$

So, you truly believe he was poked in the eye, and couldn't see?   ???

Have you watched any of the replays?

Got the ref to do it for him? As in he paid him off? The doctor as well? Lol

Hardly think Beltran is going to risk his reputation

Come on Coach - You can do better than that  ::)

He quit / said he couldn’t see so the ref called the fight off.
You’re the only one on here trying to say otherwise.

Pointless to go round & round - Console yourself with whatever you want.
Out.

Damn, Kongo won't recover.

Stick a fork in him, he's done.  Hopefully he and coach can still be friends.   :-\

Funny, he won’t take a rematch

Was he offered a rematch? I don't know who books and decides who fights whom but has a rematch been propose? Considering how quickly Bader dominated him, taking the superior striker down not with a take down but with a strike, does Kongo deserve a rematch? Would it be fair for others that are waiting in line for a shot at the title?

You not watch the fight / 7th & last round I take it.
From going to the canvass for the 2nd time in rd7 to when the ref had had enough of Joshua
& waved the fight off - it was around 34seconds 34 !!!
And at no point Did Joshua show any Sign or intention of wanting to fight on.
34 seconds !! In his Biggest & 1st Fight In MSG.
Yeah he’d had enough & Quit.

How do you figure he didn’t.

Definitely a finger in the nose.

"I can't see!"

Didn't know some people have eyes in their nostrils.

Maybe a select few see through their nose instead.

The "I can't see"-comment probably stem from feeling Darth Baders power in the clinch and being pushed up at the cagewall.

Dang, that makes it even harder for Coach to accept.  The five stages of grief are: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance.

Coach seems to be stuck in the first stage.   :-\

Just wanted to emphasised the point that though the referee officially put a stop to the fight it was Kongo who made the decision that he no longer wanted to continue. If he still wanted to fight he could have. It was Kongo who stopped the fight.
