Good question!
1. he got a Doc that was a buddy of his dad to come up some bone spurs condition to get out of military draft.
2. he used the bankruptcy laws to exit out of various business dealings when things took and down turn.
3. he got divorced 2x when things got rough in the marriage.
Some of that is smart and not bad in my opinion.
But it does show a trend to hit the exits when things get rough.
