That's a mixed bag.
I'm sure we all know families that take wonderful care of their elderly parents, grandparents, etc.
However, there are plenty who ignore or take lousy care of 'em.

 AFTER their death , families fight like rats, over the remaining assets.
I personally have never known ( or credibly heard of) an exception to this.

Interesting story.  Most people with wealth and power have high ethics and you never hear of them.  There are millions of millionaires but we hear of the corrupt ones.  When a rich person is accused of being greedy it is almost always by poor people projecting their envy.  Most wealthy give enormous amounts of money to help others through charitable contributions, taxes (which they pay the lion's share), or directly giving to others.

At the bottom of the page you posted it mentioned how governments in the U.S. and U.K. have increased power over the news.  This is actually the opposite of the truth.  In the U.S. before Rush Limbaugh, Fox News and various internet sites the government and liberal party had a monopoly on info given to the public.  There were no other voices to argue the facts of what was reported on television or radio.  Now that they no longer have that monopoly they complain about "white nationalists, racists, alternate right, etc" to anyone who opposes them.

That's a good question.  How long would it take?  No one knows but you are making the assumption that they would do the wrong thing.  Why?
