Not laugh but be eternally grateful. Like all wars since the Korean War, we always fight with one arm tied behind our back. Don't forget. We never lost a single pitch battle in Vietnam. Even during the Tet offensive when we took loses due to the surprise attack we soon turned it around and slaughtered them. It was portrayed as a loss only in the media. We easily could have decimated that entire country if we had the will.
At the end of the day they suffered over ten times the casualty rate then we did. We didn't lose that war. We just left.
the USA left because their will didnt match the will of the North Vietnamese and the Vietcong, true, you may have nuked them, the reason you didnt was the threat of retaliation from the Soviet Union and China
You may have won every batle but you lost the war...you were an invading force on foreign soil... you cant beat a people who are prepared to die...
