Complete misconception by people who have never watched him play apart from sports center highlights.dribbles,passes and moves like a guard, his iq for making the right play is off the charts, defends point guards and centers with the same ease on both, his lateral quickness on defence is elite,blocks shots like nobody ive ever seen at 6'6.Has a soft feathery touch around the rim you just dont see on big men.Ironically prefers to use skill and agility finishing around the basket, this is where he reminds me most of an 06-09 wade, the way he skilfully navigates round defenders at the basket rather than bowling through them like say shaq.Passing in half court sets reminds me alot of luka, just sees the open man before anyone else does.His % around the basket so far in his duke and preseason nba games has been higher than even barkley and shaq, around 70%.Shoots a high 3 point % meaning you cant leave him alone.I wont even talk about his athleticism, only rivals there in nba history are Jordan,Lebron, Shaq and Wilt.His mind maybe his strongest attribute, is always positive, never gets bothered, always gives 100%,plays to win rather than fill the stat sheet, teammates love him.Only downside to his game i see is his jump shot, as he tends to just shoot a set shot, with a medium to slow release.Ive been watching the nba seriously since 1990, and Ive never seen anything like him.If he stays healthy he has the potential to rival Jordan, and I dont say this lightly as a massive Jordan fan.

Ive literally never said this about a player once in the last 30 years til last year.Best at their peak ive seen since then are Shaq, Wade and Lebron, and at no point did I ever consider them to ever rival Jordan, they just didnt have "it".Zion has it, ironically so does Luka, they both have potential to be top 5 and to get somewhere near or level with Jordan.I will say Jordan was so great that its only his 2 early retirements that allow this or Id consider it impossible.From a mental,pure skill, talent and god given athlete standpoint, no I dont think either will rival Jordan.But that plus stats and accomplishments its possible, though i give it less than a 10% chance. You say its impossible to look at someone pre nba and say they cant be a G.O.A.T rival, yet everytime i watched Jordan in the pre olympic 84 warmup games vs the all nba team, Im astounded how even then I can see its clearly the best player ive ever seen play. Even hubie Brown commentating says he thinks Jordan will be an all time great, and he hadnt even stepped on an NBA court yet.Bobby knight in the summer of 84, the coach of the olympic team, was saying at that time jordan was the best he'd ever seen, including NBA players in that.Even more amazing is that scouts saw him play and still picked Hakeem and Sam Bowie over him in the draft!!So its possible to see greatness before even one NBA game, but its a once in a 10-20 year occurrence or more.Also I wont be frustrated at all if zion desnt pan out, I simply see what i see, Im no huge fan of his.

I called that before Zion got injured (with Morant) before they were drafted. He is the best of this class.

Zion will be good, but not great. He has athleticism going for him mostly. Not a great shooter, passer, or dribbler.
