At this point it’s been a month since the virus information has been released  and 2 weeks since the satellite imaging indicated 60% less  travel and energy consumption.

Completely forgetting the loss productivity of goods being made, everyone would be feeling the loss of items not shipping immediately. You have to have a workforce in place just to ship products. Lost manpower in that sector  would be noticed IMMEDIATELY.

They only way this wouldn’t be a factor yet is if the majority of Chinese goods are sitting at customs and they’re always delayed when released.

I will disagree with this statement as you’ve been discussing how contagious, easily spread and deadly this is for over a month now and the first traces of the virus are finally in the US.  Obviously this isn’t good, but it’s not nearly as bad as advertised.

It's not hard to figure out that if half of China seemingly has this that it will hit major metro areas in the USA at some point.

The real question is will this end up with like a couple hundred cases in select US states at some point and then taper off or will it go higher like in China, Italy and Korea?

I'd imagine it's been spreading in every popular western country for weeks now.This pretty much confirmed it's been in Washington for 6 weeks.

I'm going to guess that the market rallies mon,tues,wed,  fed probably drops rates 50bp but then the market will dump again thurs, fri, as more profits are taken.
