IFBB/NPC Fit World - March 14 - Postponed here in Los Angeles

The Declaration in California of no more than 250 people in a 'gathering' has forced them to postpone this event slated for Saturday here in Los Angeles / Culver City.  The IFBB Fit World Pro Men's Physique will be moved - waiting top hear if they can do it in two weeks in San Diego, or three weeks from now back in Culver City?

Seriously?  The mass hysteria here in Southern California is truly unreal.   The amount of people going to be out of work, the incredible loss of revenue and taxes to the city and state, and the billions per day lost.  Instead of pouring money into taking care, treating, testing the new virus, we are trying to slow it down in the 'hopes' that it can be contained.  Just like the flu, which kills a lot more people the US each year, and even this year, destroying the economy and sending us into a 'panic' spiral won't help either.  

Our mayor said 'Don't go eat out in restaurants', just hide and panic without a thought.  Wow...

How about test more, get more medicine, make sure people don't wait for 2 hours at stores because of panic mode, and educate more on the virus.

It is.   In the event to stop the spread of the virus, closing everything and limiting contact for 2+ weeks has certain people thinking it will slow it down.  The problem is that they actually think thousands are infected because of the lack of testing, so this will keep people who are infected away from others.

That being said, the overzealots of this in terms of certain situations, and the drastic measure of cancelling right away events instead of giving a few days notice is causing panic, hence the run on paper goods, water, non-perishable items, etc.  Costco and Grocery stores are overwhelmed, and shipments are coming but slowly back in each day.

I said this for those looking forward to the Arnold Brazil and Australia... They are going to wait until the last minute to say NO SHOW or worse... Athletes won't be allowed to travel outside of their nation to Brazil or WON'T BE ALLOWED BACK INTO THEIR HOME NATION!!!!
