Thanks for keeping us current on these stats. I wonder if some folks here think you are part of a conspiracy because you report the facts.

Just reporting the facts - and practicing 'social distancing' when we got out, to the market, Costco, etc - as do most people.  The main issue stems from senior nursing homes, crowded apartment buildings, transportation aka bus and subway, and the homeless or people who do not care about social distancing and touching everything they can via droplets.  Remember, some of us still go to work.

What we need are thermal human temperature analyzers to check people BEFORE they enter any store, or building.  If you register a fever, you take a test. With Abbott coming out with tests that take 15 minutes to give you an answer, the clinics should be able to do this quicker in the next few weeks.

She was right:

Cuomo: Most new NY coronavirus hospitalizations are from people who stayed home

https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2020/05/06/ny-gov-cuomo-says-its-shocking-most-new-coronavirus-hospitalizations-are-people-staying-home.html

"This is a surprise: Overwhelmingly, the people were at home," he added. "We thought maybe they were taking public transportation, and we've taken special precautions on public transportation, but actually no, because these people were literally at home."
Cuomo said nearly 84% of the hospitalized cases were people who were not commuting to work through car services, personal cars, public transit or walking. He said a majority of those people were either retired or unemployed. Overall, some 73% of the admissions were people over age 51.

UK chances of contracting Covid and dying..

unless you are 60 the chances of you dying are less than zero

Now add to that all the people who haven't ben tested and you can throw in another 4 decimal points

This 'plan'demic is being used to destroy the US economy, provide trillion dollar bailouts to big banks, make people poor/desperate/scared, transfer more power/control to the government and to vaccinate you.  Sorry Bill Gates, but I ain't taking your fucking vaccine.

He's just another guy that doesn't understand exponential growth. In the video he said "the total  number of deaths since the coronavirus was discovered has been about 6,500, that's today the 16th of March". Implying that it took so long to just reach 6500 deaths, that it's no big deal.

Well, a few days later there are now 9000 dead. So it took months to kill 6500, but in only a few days later to reach 9000.

If you don't understand the significance of this, I don't know what to say.

Also comparing the flu which has been around for a long time, to the coronavirus that has just begun is retarded.

I'm quite versed in exponential growth, and your point is valid, as were many points Dr. Coleman was making.

As for comparing the flu with the coronavirus, we are comparing the deaths of a virus with no vaccine to one that has a vaccine.  If there was no vaccine for the flu, far more people would die.

So all in all, this virus is not much more dangerous to most people [<70] than the normal flu.

As a man of 38 years of age like myself, I am not in much more danger.

I do realize that outliers apply [young people alleged to have died of the coronavirus], but there would be outliers for the flu, if I had to guess.

It's true that most people are mathematically illiterate, but he made a lot of points that explained exactly that, for the people wishing to destroy the global economy to save us from this overblown pandemic.

I wonder if he thinks a fraction of a percent means less than 0.

That someone's chance of dying can't be negative.

when averaged against the entire population yes it can

If 1 person dies out of 100 people then its a 1% chance of dying

Once you get over 100 people then the % has to be less than 1% if 1 person dies

Thats how percentages work

Im taking % fatality ratios based on population...

If one person dies then mathematically it cant be zero, but on a per population ration it is .

If one person in 1 million dies then what is the % chance of that one person dying?
