I don't fuck around with customized guns.  Stock guns run much better in my opinion.

Plus, that gold AK needs gold furniture.  Where are the gold grips, gold buttstock, and gold magazines?

I never got an out of the box 1911 that I was completely happy with. Polishing the feed ramp, cleaning up the trigger, maybe tightened up the slide to frame fit... but once you get it properly tuned then there's nothing better. The only thing I did with my Glock was to replace the iron sights with tritium and polish the feed ramp so it was like glass. I was using the Corbons and they have a pretty flat hollow point so I would get a jam every now and then. After polishing the feed ramp it was 100%

Shot my Beretta for the first time today. This was 10 yards away. I still need to practice much more. For some reason, kept firing bottom right, but hit a few in the center. Also, shot an AK47, which was really fun.

And people think a cop, when their life is in danger, should shoot at the shoulder or leg or shoot the weapon out of someone's hand.

Only someone who has never fired a gun would make such a statement.

I’ve been reading people on social media saying that cops should shoot at peoples hands or legs to incapacitate then. As if that’s easy.

Nice. There's nothing like a piece that runs like greased lightning. It's an old designed but nothing is better than a finely tuned 1911.

If you intend to use that firearm to defend yourself I strongly urge you to sign up for USCCA legal protection.

Help me understand this. Why would experience firing a gun make any difference in where to shoot someone other than the fact that their torso is a larger target? Shouldn't the police be expert marksmen, much more so than your average gun owner? I was under the impression they practice their skill at police firing ranges on a regular basis. If this is not the case, it should be.

It's great that SF1900 is hitting the firing range pretty regularly since getting his gun. The last thing we need is a bunch of amateurs with guns who can't shoot it properly or with any degree of accuracy. Who knows who they might accidentally shoot if called upon to use their weapon in self-defense.

Define expert marksmen?

Police and the military are trained to eliminate the threat, not make jism gulping old liberal phaggots feel good that killers are only getting their guns shot out of their hands.

Because it is not easy to fire a handgun. Even professional hand gunners, and because I use to shoot competitively I've seen some expert marksman, can't shoot accurately at a moving target the size of a tennis ball seven yards out. Remember, a cop shoots because his life is in danger. You want to stack the odds as much in your favor. If you decide you have to shoot someone to stop him it's probably your only chance to do so. You want to make it count.

Imagine running after someone and he turns around and points a weapon at you, forget for a moment whether or not you think it is lethal, it's easy to judge when it's not your life in danger. You are running, in motion, no chance to set, take a proper two-handed grip, a Weaver stance, and align your sights at night. It ain't going to happen. You are running, chasing a moving target, shooting with one hand which is even harder to do.

No, police officers are not expert Marksmen, nor are they expert fighters, or at a high level of physical condition and athleticism. To be an expert at anything you have to devote your life to that activity with countless hours and years of practice and training to be a Class A shooter or a martial art Blackbelt. They're cops who primarily write tickets, answer calls, and don't regularly get into physical confrontations. They're just cops, man. Regular Joes with lives and families and not super soldiers or special forces

Lots of cops only shoot their guns once a year at range qualifying time.

Lots of cops have never fired their guns while on active duty during long careers.

On TV shows cops get in gunfights and kill someone every episode.

??? I shoot one handed all the time, 22, 9, 40, 45...doesn't matter. To be proficient, you should practice many different scenarios.

Hahahah...dude, there are hardly any hand guns to be found anywhere. I went to the Bass Pro Shop in Vegas, hardly anything on the way home I stopped off at the one off the 15 at Foothill...nothing. Asked for a Desert Eagle .44 and apparently they’re non-existent right now.

LOL!  I am far worse, believe me.  I do not own a gun and do not know how to shoot, unlike my brothers and sisters.  But then they are smarter than me.

As for the OP?  The only thing that fuckwit can shoot off is his mouth.  I've tried to be nice a few times but his raison d'être (look it up, SF you twit) is obvious.
