I didn't say Biden won. I said Biden exceeded the expectations that the Trump campaign conditioned people and that was a success for Biden. The reality is that both Trump and Biden lost and, really, America lost.

It's not bias. It's a comment based on the outcome from watching the debate.

I wanted to hear answers from Biden but many times he was unable to answer the question and deflected. The moderator would move it on instead of pushing Biden to answer. It was something overwhelmingly obvious during the debate, hence, not bias but an observation. I'm not alone on that as many are talking about the same observation.

I don't believe both lost as i don't believe either lost any voters they had prior to the debate. I think they left with the same and the debate has no major influential impact on the eventual outcome.

Biden was not asked to condemn anyone because he was given easy questions

Of course; however, when it comes to drawing inferences, there is no shortage of examples that show the faculty of sight to be a more powerful influencer (both conscious and unconscious) than the faculty of hearing in making snap judgments -- hence such historical caveats not to judge a book by its cover and my "eye test" set up. I wasn't being scientifically or philosophically rigorous, though I'd hazard that Biden looks like a chronic fecal drip even to his democratic proponents, who are resigned (until the anticipated moment of replacement) to look away in disgust.

Also quoting a CSPAN poll that was just made up as it was still in progress. This exposes your tunnel vision bias and diminishes your credibility.

Fuck the poll results, this was a weak performance by both. Let’s put it into a boxing analogy:

The Champion fought an over the hill, aging, has-been contender. The contender moved slow, predictable, and kept coming forward throwing the same combinations.

And instead of taking him out right away, the Champion allowed the contender and the referee to dictate the fight until it ended up a decision on the judge’s scorecards. That debate should have been OVER in the first ten minutes if Trump was prepared.

And how much has has the homicide rate gone up in Fort Wayne. I can't find any stats for 2019 but in 2018 it was 41 and in 2020 it was 33.

Actually, when comparing the senses vision is the much more shallow perspective than hearing. Try just listening to the debate without watching it. Remember, when Nixon debated Kennedy those who listened to it on the radio said Nixon won. He had the better arguments and seemed more informed than Kennedy. But those who watched it said that Nixon lost due to the visual disparities in their appearance which portrayed Nixon in a bad light.

The question wasn't which group is more threatening. The question was, generally will you condemn White Supremist and Militia groups; an example of the Proud Boys was given, granted a minor player in the right wing extremist movement. But why leave any ambiguity, especially when Trump is always charged with being a racist? Why didn't he just unambiguously and forcefully denounce all White Supremist, Neo-Nazis, and right wing extremist militia
groups?

There is nothing to suggest in my little post to suggest that sight cannot be misleading or shallow, as you put it. I didn't make a normative claim, but only sketched how sight can influence impressions disproportionately, which you seem to confirm in your Nixon/Kennedy example.
