Make big pharma bigger again

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/05/white-house-fda-vaccine-standards-426605
White House cited drug companies’ objections in overruling FDA’s vaccine standards
Trump’s back-channel conversations with Pfizer raise concerns that the president and drug makers are working behind regulators’ backs.

Is Mr Trump still giving support to anti vax campaigners ?
He supports big pharma and anti vax'ers.  Whatever and whoever he supports is wrong according to the libtards.

“Duh” is right.

Medical experts reportedly deemed President Donald Trump’s brief trip outside of Walter Reed Medical Center as being “safe” after the proper precautions were taken.

“Appropriate precautions were taken in the execution of this movement to protect the President and all those supporting it, including PPE,” the White House said in a statement. “The movement was cleared by the medical team as safe to do.”

Yes. This is all well and good, but was it necessary?

Now he's back at the White House and not wearing a mask. Oh that's right, masks are for wimps.

Why would he wear one now?

Trump is responsible for 200 000 deaths from this coronavirus,  that he not protected the American people from.

You are so fucking stupid it's unreal. Yeah the guy who got called racist for banning travel from affected countries is responsible for Democrat politicians encouraging hugging chinese people and rioting. Moron. 200,000? Only 9000 have died from covid. Was Obama responsible for the 50,000 per year dying of flu?

Vaccines should be available to the drones who want to take them. If people want to ruin their immune systems with modern carby foods and see dangerous drugs as a health panacea, then that's their prerogative.

Trump is against mandatory vaccination, rightfully so. There is no scientific or ethical argument for mandatory vaccinations, only the whining of aforementioned degenerate people projecting their own drug dependency. I would rather see a complete ban on all processed foods before any mandatory vaccination. And by processed I mean if it didn't exist during the pre-agricultural era.

Are you saying Trump is a drone?

Soon after President Donald Trump tested positive for the coronavirus, he received a special experimental treatment of monoclonal antibodies that almost no one else in the world has access to outside ongoing clinical trials. Since these therapeutic agents aren't yet available to the public, the president was able to receive them through a "compassionate use" protocol, which makes experimental treatments available on a limited basis to those in desperate need with no other alternatives available.

“We have the best medical equipment, we have the best medicines, all developed recently,” said Trump, who had stayed in Walter Reed’s private presidential wing and received special access to experimental drug therapies.

“I know there’s a risk, there’s a danger, but that’s OK,” Trump added. “And now I’m better, and maybe I’m immune, I don’t know.”

Conley said that the president’s medical team is “cautiously optimistic,” but added, “we’re in a bit of uncharted territory” with regard to Trump’s treatment regimen.

The president's treatment regime features a mix of drugs often used in more severe cases of COVID-19.

So far, the president has received:

Supplemental oxygen
An antibody cocktail developed by Regeneron (REGN-COV2)
Remdesivir, an antiviral manufactured by Gilead
Dexamethasone, a commonly used corticosteroid

Trump is receiving five doses of remdesivir, according to his physicians.

Some doctors have pointed out the more serious side effects of dexamethasone treatment. "They work on a whole range of different body systems and they work at the level of the nucleus," said Kyle. That means it affects almost every cell in the body -- and so the side effects are rather varied. There are potential negative effects on the brain, influencing aggression, anxiety and mood. Another side effect is "euphoria," according to Nicholson, who says it "might partly explain the president's strong feeling that he is recovering rapidly."

Yes it is a free country (for the most part). What does that have to do with Trump's return to the White House? He's free to not wear a mask since they are only mandated for some.

Masks are still not mandatory at White House, officials say, despite President Donald Trump’s positive COVID case

Update on the Health and Safety Precautions taken within the Executive Residence

The health and safety of the Residence staff is of the utmost importance to the First Family.

Since March, the Residence has adopted hospital-grade disinfection policies, had White House Medical Unit lead coronavirus workshops so staff could have their concerns addressed, significantly reduced staff, and encouraged maximum teleworking. The Residence also installed additional sanitization and filtration systems throughout the Executive Mansion.

The health of Residence staff members and their families are a paramount concern to the First Family so the following precautionary measures have been taken during this pandemic:

In March, similar sanitization and filtration systems were provided to each Residence employee to be used in their homes to further protect them and their family members.

In the beginning of April, all Residence staff were required to wear masks at all times.

Residence staff in direct contact with the First Family are tested daily, with support staff tested every 48 hours.

In addition to support from the Medical Unit, the Residence has hired independent health consultants who are available to check on staff and their families, facilitating ancillary testing as needed.

The Residence also hired a ‘well-being’ consultant, which staff members can speak to anonymously, specifically to focus on mental health concerns.

With the recent positive results of the President and First Lady, staff wear full PPE and continue to take all necessary precautions, which include updated procedures to protect against cross contamination.

Ronald Reagan was President from January 20, 1981 – January 20, 1989 or 31 years ago. How old were you when he was President?

In your opinion, if Canadians were allowed to vote in this election, how would it go?

My guess would be 80/20 for Biden.

Good question.

A lot of sad sacks and non-whites up here. A lot of cucky wimps.

But there are a number of Trump fans and nationalists/smart folks, as well.

epic is back
