I've read discussion that the Democrats might pursue the budget reconciliation process, meaning that they'd need only 51 votes to pass whatever budget they want.  I believe that they will go for it, because it's full of once-in-a-lifetime (or generation) expansions of the Federal Gov't.

Which is one of the reasons why the markets are up. I was surprised last month when the jobs report came up short by almost a million but hardly if at all affected the markets. Reports like that markets usually react negatively
