5 days out first NPC show Advice?

Cost for each div entered = $100 plus min $25 late fee ( masters and novice) entry fees = $250
NPC card = $135

Posing trunks- ? $50 plus rush shipping , maybe $75 total
Pro tan bronzer - with rush shipping another $75
gf ticket = 25 prejudging and 50 for night finals

Still think this is a good idea?

Bhank is a rich dude.....you're talking pocket change to him. Everything you mentioned only adds up to $650. It will cost more because there's hotel and food for two and travel expenses. If he's going to enter every division he's going to need a couple of posing suits and a classic suit. He should go for the spray tan. Right now he's more sunburnt looking than tan and he's fair. Even with the items I mentioned, I doubt money is an issue.

Again I am trying to stay positive the next few days vs getting upset and letting my coritsol levels flare up. I will deal with Josh later.

cortisol is the least of your worries.

i would worry about the following in no particular order.

your non existent legs
your torn arms
your oil filled shoulders
your hairline
your back that is as thin as a post it note

the maybe just maybe you should worry about cortisol

Obviously, he's got enough $$ to piss a few hundred away on this "adventure".
He might do ok, in the ctual contest. He's gonna have a tough time winning a sword.
 I think he's gonna feel butt hurt by the getbig post contest feedback.

Being the Excalibur , he'll like be up against a couple freaks in the open hvy.
It's likely he may have a super ripped smaller guys beat him in the novice and masters.

I'd advised him to take his gf out for a nice weekend, instead of this show.
But, he seemed very determined to do THIS rush job  contest. Not sure why?

Having said that you seem intent upon doing this so I hope you represent yourself and the Collective here as best you can.  Oh..And be grateful that Wes isn't in the lineup.    He is a good man and a fierce competitor.   I suspect you are as well.   My mother once taught me that if I am too childish to listen to advice well given then I should strive to hear the voices of experience that  have spoken to me throughout my life.

My girl agree to reschedule her dr apt and since she is already scheduled to take the day off will go to the show with me. Now you are going to see my metabolism. 5 days out dropping all water retaining compounds. Not taking a diuretic will take an anti E. Will use my Sauna. Will drop excess food and let stomach get back to normal. May take an anti gas pill if needed.  Plan is to enter over 40 and true novice along with Open heavyweight division. Not really sure they are even having over 40 or true novice as texted promoter and asked and was just told will be explained at check in. So really no idea what level of competition I will be facing. But I think I can clear my system of water and dry out in 5 days will find out.

Plan is just to cut back a little and eat burgers without buns and water the next few days with some cereal for breakfast. Drop all dairy or well maybe some cheese on burgers but no milk or protein shakes.  Going to eat fat to burn fat and keep carbs low. My do a little cardio on the stationary bike for digestion and to keep metabolism high. Figure I won't lift much as don't want to break anything down but may do some leg extensions to bring out the detail as I drop the water. I guess keep water high for a couple days then drop it 48 hours out?

Any last minute advice or tricks? Comical or real but hopefully not nasty.

Dude, if you live in NC and compete here in SC, you need to cross state lines.
I thought you couldn't do THAT being on probation for another month?

If he actually competes , I'll be sure to give him props , regardless of win , place or get last.

However, something tells me, he's NOT gonna make it to the stage on Saturday.

Yeah that is the thing I could try to cut to light heavy, I do feel that would help me in the open but not sure if that helps the over 40 or true novice but maybe make 198.5 friday and then come back up to 210 for the show? Or better to just come in a full 215 not planning to be a bloated 230???

I didn't say I would win but in the true novice or masters I think it is possible but yeah never know if Lou Ferrigno will show up. I wasn't going to do the open but will be there anyway
