I forget the exact details but But one of my favourites stories ever is the one of when his supervisor in a job he had taken on had them sitting around the table and was being an absolute cunt to them and josh climbed on the table and booted him full force in the face. One of the greatest things in life is hearing of people suddenly realising the hard way that their pathetic little bit token managerial/supervisor position that they have used to treat people like shit the whole time in that position means absolutely fuck all to some people with spectacular results like above

That's usually how it works in the normal world. Yes, there are many shitty bosses out there, but unless your physical being is put in immediate danger, there are proper channels to take.

There is almost never an instance where physical violence is deemed appropriate in the workplace.

You can't go around beating up bosses and coworkers because you dislike them or their management style.

I never said it applied to all bosses I know many that are well liked, but surely you don’t deny that workplaces everywhere are full of fucking arseholes in barely above bottom of the chain positions that see it as an ego boost and an opportunity to treat those below them like shit and assert their limited authority over them. I have very limited experience as an employee compared to most but even I have seen it loads and yes I do believe they should be battered fucking senseless as there is no need to treat anyone like shit. I have shown the uttermost respect to everyone I’ve took to work and never expect them to do anything I wouldn’t do and ask rather than tell to do something and generally don’t give a fuck what they do within reason as long as what I expect done gets done and as such have never had issue. A boss I had at the stonemakers years back was great and well liked and used to come out on the drink with the workers, later they put the owners son in charge who was a tit and he caused the workforce to diminish to less than half and pissed one of them off enough they burned the place to the ground

I'll confess that kind of physical retribution looks good and is tempting.
But real life rarely works out like Denzel in " The Equalizer".
Most hot heads end up out of work, shot dead or in prison.
Obviously, some do just fine, but they're the rare, smart ones.

Yelling insults and undisciplined violent outbursts , rarely get good, long term results.
For example, I found it much more effective to just quit the job or file a grievance with HR.

I stand there and  refuse to leave the store, until the manager refunds my $$.

I've had some woman "do me wrong" and I felt butt hurt and pissed off.
Using self discipline and dealing with the actual relationship was better overall.
Once you break up or get divorced and IGNORE them, you can get on with your life.

Granted , sometimes you have to defend yourself , home ,property , family.
I'm a strong advocate of the 2nd amd , BUT, pray  I'll never have to use it

Similar to the story I told on here a while back about the 3 cop cars with lights on surrounding me for going 25 MPH in an empty parking lot at 8 AM................I think he was slightly intimidated when he found out I didn`t give a fuck if he wore a badge or not.

I'm leaning more to the side that you don't like authority. It's not about "position of power" for most bosses, but you do realize it is their job to delegate/tell you what they want you to do, and that there is often times people above them, giving them shit etc..... That's where the term "shit rolls down hill" came from. Unless you are independently wealthy, or own your own business,  I suggest stocking up on toiletries.

About 5-6 times a year someone will actually come to my office to confront me about some perceived slight. I typically respond initially with politeness and respect. In 20 years that has gone one of two ways; they either calm down and state their piece, or it escalates and they sense a distinct change in my approach and attitude. If it is a couple - 90% of the time the problem is with the female partner.

Not one person has ever threatened violence face to face or even acted aggressively once they were in my office. The internet has made this even worse because even the losers in life are given an equal soapbox to complain on.

My take on the whole thing is some people are only happy when they are unhappy and a great deal of what Josh has claimed is exaggerated to impress Getbig.

No harm done, the world won’t end.

I think I had a few more jobs than just that one my friend.

Was assistant manager for a worldwide sporting goods store..... Hermans World Of Sporting Goods based in England with over 300 stores worldwide.

Worked there for 8 years starting as the shipper and reciever  for 6 bucks an hour.....in less than a full year I was making 16 bucks an hour at the new store we opened....this was in the early 90`s.

Also managed one side of a huge pet store......a chain of only 3 stores that made 7 million a year......also managed a lawn care business.....plus got a lot of pussy at that bar in 13 years.....also manufactured hurricane shutters in your beloved  Port St. Lucie for 4 years.

I lived a full life.....a fucked up life at times but I sure as hell didn`t live in a bubble.

Worked at the Post Office before as well,and had quite a few other jobs some I kept,some I left for a better paying gig.
