I went to my Power Skating class tonight for two hours !
I’m getting pretty good at left hand turns, but I’m not very good at turning right. I figure it is the NASCAR syndrome of ice skating. I’m getting faster but I’m still a little out of control once I try going fast. Some of these kids in the class are really good skaters. Their balance is so good. I’m working on extending my strides so it becomes good exercise for my legs and glutes, but skating is pretty hard on the lower back too. I wore my hockey gloves but we aren’t allowed to bring hockey sticks.
I also downloaded the 5-3-1 spreadsheet to look into that routine. It’s more confusing and complicated than I thought. When I read it I finally understand what Henda feels like when he tries to help his young daughter with her homework ! 🤣
Cool, I never ice skated a day in my life and stop picking on Henda.

Jane if you trust in the program I`m gonna` type up for you as it starts out a bit unorthodox and goes against most peoples mindset of what it would take to increase a lift....the squat in your case, but it works.
In the long haul you`ll be doing deep as to the grass reps with two and a quarter like a hot knife through butter.....just trust my old sagelike knowledge and drug/booze induced wisdom.....just kidding about the latter stuff.

The most important thing to do is leave your ego at the door and never try maxing out too often or even at all in some peoples cases.
Of you follow this with an open mind, you will make great gains in power.
Just two other things that would help....what`s your best max squat, and your best set of five reps?
